Temporary Senior Accountant
Location: Folsom, CA (On-site to start, with potential for hybrid flexibility)
Duration: 4-6 months (Leave of Absence Coverage)
Compensation: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour (DOE)
Ledgent, a Roth Staffing Company, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a valued client located in Folsom, CA. This is a project-based temporary assignment covering a leave of absence and is expected to last approximately 4 to 6 months. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, and prior use of ERP accounting systems. Experience with Oracle is highly preferred.
Perform complex general ledger account reconciliations and month-end close duties.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Support project-based accounting initiatives, working closely with finance leadership.
Assist with system-related tasks including data validation, troubleshooting, and ERP integration as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent and accurate financial information.
Identify and implement process improvements to support financial operations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
3+ years of recent experience in a Senior Accountant role.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems required; Oracle experience is a strong plus.
Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and commit to the full duration of the assignment.
This is an on-site role in Folsom, CA to start; some hybrid flexibility may be considered after an initial period.
Must be available to begin assignment promptly and complete the full 4-6 month term.
Pay is flexible depending on experience and qualifications.
